HP Printer Not Working ? Get Troubleshooting Help

Problem & Solution 1: Cancel all the printing jobs pending in the printer
Giving too many print jobs at once can make the printer to stop working. In some cases this can make your HP printer to go offline as well. To fix this HP printer stopped working trouble, follow the below section.
The solution to the problem:
- Go to your Windows search menus and type “Run” in the search bar.
- Type “control panel” in this dialog and click Enter.
- Now from here, click on “Devices and Printers”.
- Now you will see your HP printer amongst the shown printers. Right click on that printer and from the drop-down list pick “See what’s printing.”
- Click the “Printer” menu element at the bottom left when the fresh folder starts and pick “Open as Administrator” from the drop-down menu.
- Open the menu element “Printer” in the upper right corner of and select “Cancel all documents.”
- A confirmation dialog window will be opened at this moment, and you need to verify that by choosing “Yes” you want to remove all records in the print queue.
- Now you can check if your HP printer stopped working problem is resolved or not. If not then move on to the next section.
Problem & Solution 2 : Set As Default Printer
The best thing you can do is to “set your printer as a default” one so that it functions properly. Because if your printer is not set as default then all your applications for printing do not go to your printer. Let’s make sure your HP is a Default Printer.
- Go to the Control Panel by Typing the “Control” in Run Dialog Box and then hit ok in your windows 10 system
- Choose the option “Device and Printers”
- On the next window right click over your listed HP printer and choose the option “Set as default printer”.
- Now to make sure that your printer is set as default, look for a green check mark on your printer. Refer to the below image.
